JITO Washington DC and Embassy of India Celebrate Vishwa Navkar Mantra Divas and Mahavir Janma Kalyanak

 

 

Washington, D.C. — April 9, 2025
The Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) Washington DC Chapter, in collaboration with the Embassy of India, hosted a special celebration of Vishwa Navkar Mantra Divas and Mahavir Janma Kalyanak at the Embassy of India, uniting community members, spiritual leaders, and dignitaries for an inspiring evening of prayer, culture, and reflection.

The evening began with a warm reception and community dinner, allowing attendees to connect, network, and celebrate the spirit of Vishwa Navkar Mantra and Mahavir Janma Kalyanak together before moving into the formal program. The program officially opened with a beautiful dance performance on the Navkar Mantra by Ms. Kavya Zaveri and Ms. Harshvi Shah, setting a devotional and uplifting tone for the evening.

In addition to the public gathering, a closed group meeting was organized where community leaders met with His Excellency, Ambassador of India, Mr. Vinay Mohan Kwatra, to discuss the Jain community's contributions, ongoing activities, and future collaboration initiatives.

The JITO Washington DC leadership team Dr. Sushil Jain, Mr. Bhupesh Mehta, Mr. Rahul Jain, Mrs. Minal Shah, Mrs. Renuka Jain, Mr. Sharad Doshi, and Dr. Gita Shah - took the opportunity to recognize and honor the His Excellency, Ambassador of India, Mr. Vinay Mohan Kwatra, as well as Hon. Jag Mohan and Hon. Jigar Raval, for their support in strengthening community relations and promoting Indian culture and values.
