JITO USA Launches Atlanta Chapter - 7th December 2024
Thank you to each of you who participated in today’s historic event and showed your exceptional support. Your overwhelming response made this day unforgettable— a day when the JITO USA Atlanta unit transformed into a full chapter on the very day of its launch! This is truly a landmark achievement for Jains in Atlanta.
We were privileged to have close to 100 attendees join us —both locally and via Zoom worldwide. Among the local attendees, an inspiring ~60% of families chose to join as JITO USA Atlanta chapter spanning most every type of memberships offered Chief Patrons ($15k), Life Members ($3k), Annual ($300/yr), Student ($100/yr) & Spouse ($100/yr). This overwhelming response reflects that a platform like JITO was not only needed but long awaited, as eloquently expressed by Smt. Madhu Sheth, advisor JITO USA Atlanta Women's Wing, in her speech.
The event was further elevated by the presence of our keynote speaker, Padma Bhushan Dr. Jagdish Sheth , whose profound words of wisdom and vision beautifully highlighted the importance of JITO. He inspired everyone to see the platform’s potential to shape not just today’s Jain community but also the generations to come.
Adding to the moment’s grandeur, we were honored by the presence of Atlanta Consul General Shri Ramesh Babu , whose perspective as one of India’s top diplomats & Shri Sapan Bafna, JITO USA General Secretary & Dallas Chapter Founder/Chairman, brought an encouraging and unique appreciation for the JITO initiative. Their endorsement added yet another layer of dignity and pride to this occasion.
In conclusion, on behalf of the entire JITO USA Atlanta launch team and our newly formed Executive Committee, I extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this historic milestone with such enthusiasm. We also express our deep gratitude to the leadership teams of JITO USA, JITO Apex, and JITO International for their invaluable guidance and encouragement.
Together, we have set a new benchmark, and the journey ahead is bright with promise. Thank you all for being part of this historic moment!
