Dr. Sreeni Gangasani is a cardiologist and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in Georgia, including Eastside Medical Center, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, and Gwinnett Hospital System. He specializes in adult congenital heart disease, echocardiography, heart failure & transplantation, and nuclear cardiology and is experienced in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, preventive cardiology, and cardiac critical care.
Dr. Gangasani (Dr. G) completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases from William Beaumont Hospital, an affiliate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University in Royal Oak, Michigan. During the residency, he was recognized as an outstanding resident.
He served as the Chief of the Department of Medicine at Gwinnett Health System from 2009 to 2011 and was previously Vice Chief of the Department of Medicine. Dr. Gangasani was the President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of GAPI (Georgia Association of Physicians of Indian Heritage). He served as Board of Directors of the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, Secretary of APNA (Andhra Pradesh Physicians and Professionals of North America), and Chair of the IMG section of the Medical Association of Georgia. He was awarded the Circle of Hope award for compassion in Medicine in 2012 and 2017.
