Judge Neera Bahl’s extraordinary journey is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and unwavering dedication. She began her career as a Research Specialist at The University of Alabama in Birmingham and later at Emory University in Atlanta, laying a strong foundation in academia and research. After 22 years, she pivoted to law, joining a small immigration firm in 2005. Her tenacity and vision saw her rise from associate to name partner, eventually purchasing the firm in 2009 and founding Neera Bahl & Associates, which she later renamed One Path Legal in 2018. Under her leadership, the firm became a cornerstone for immigration and family law before she sold the practice in 2019 and transitioned to consulting with Neera Bahl Legal Consulting, LLC.

But Judge Bahl’s story didn’t stop there. In 2020, she was appointed by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp as an Appellate Judge and Director of the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation. Neeraji is first woman of Indian descent appointed to this position.

Since then, she has made an indelible mark on Georgia's legal landscape, serving alongside distinguished leaders such as Chairman Benjamin Vinson and Judge Frank McKay. In July 2024, Governor Kemp reappointed her for a second term, a clear reflection of her leadership and commitment to justice.

Beyond her remarkable career, Judge Bahl is deeply rooted in family. Married to her husband, Vijay, for 45 years, they are proud parents to Dr. Sumeet Bahl, an Interventional Radiologist at Brooklyn Hospital, and are delighted grandparents to 4½-year-old Satya Patel Bahl.
